DDTA stands apart from other institutes of Hyderabad since it is the only Academy imparting training by Ex Assessors trained and certified by Defence Institute Of Psychological Research, with vast experience at different Selection Centres in all the three techniques of Service Selection Board i.e., Interview, Psychology and Group Testing.

The programmes conducted at DDTA are based on a systematic approach towards training with equal emphasis on hands on training, evaluation, and feedback so as to establish the strengths and weaknesses of the candidates.

DDTA is the only institute in Hyderabad to be pride of a well laid out  outdoor  tasks simulating the SSBs, spread over two acres of lush green open space. The facilities provided at DDTA outdoor facility includes complete Group Tasks akin to a SSB (PGTs, HGTs, CTs, FGT and all Individual Obstacles).

Indoor facilities at DDTA include air conditioned classrooms where all types of tests and mock interviews are conducted.
